The Yamuna Expressway region is moving towards a new milestone with the development of India’s most beautiful road interchange. This ambitious project will link the upcoming Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport) directly to the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway and Yamuna Expressway, giving travelers a world-class experience the moment they arrive.
A Landmark in the Making
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has designed this interchange with a vision far beyond simple connectivity. Inspired by the lush landscapes around Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, the plan includes:
- Green parks and tree-lined paths
- Beautifully landscaped loops and triangles
- Water bodies and seating zones for relaxation
- Walking trails and eco-friendly design elements
This will make the interchange not only a transport facility but also a landmark of beauty and sustainability.
Foundation by Nitin Gadkari
On 8th July, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will lay the foundation of this grand project. The launch will begin with him planting a tree in honor of his mother, symbolizing the commitment towards greenery and environmental balance.
Completing Before Flights Take Off
Efforts are being made to ensure the interchange is fully ready before commercial operations at Noida International Airport begin. This will provide seamless travel to flyers and smooth connectivity for cargo and logistics, strengthening the region’s importance as an international aviation and trade hub.
